TRANSPORTATION

Airlines (www.gallatinfield.com)

The Bozeman airport is served by Delta, Northwest, Horizon Air, and United Express airlines. Connections are made from Denver, Salt Lake City, Seattle/Tacoma, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Butte, MT.

Car Rental

Car rental companies include Budget, Thrifty, Hertz, Avis and National. Because of the distances between some of the attractions which you might like to visit, we suggest that you consider renting a car at the airport. Budget Rent-A-Car is offering group rates this year. Contact them directly at 1-800-952-8343 to make reservations. Budget also has day rentals available right at the resort.

Shuttle

If you just need shuttle transportation from the Bozeman airport to the Lodge and back again, please contact Karst Stage at 1-800-287-4759 or e-mail airport@karststage.com. (Their web site is www.karststage.com and they prefer on-line reservations by August 25, confirmed by e-mail to you.)  They have a counter in the airport, at the west end of baggage claim, near the car rental counters. They accept MasterCard, Visa, and travelers checks, but no personal checks. If fewer than four passengers are taken, the price goes up accordingly. Reservations are required. Contact Mike at Karst Stage with your flight information and to answer any questions you might have.

Options

You might also choose to fly to Salt Lake City, Utah or Jackson, Wyoming and drive a rental car from there to the Resort. Allow a full day of driving from Salt Lake City to Big Sky Resort or 6 hours to Jackson Lake Lodge in the Tetons. From the Tetons, it is a 3-4 hour drive through Yellowstone to Big Sky. Allow yourself many additional hours if you stop for sightseeing in the Park.
